Last weak clients in our adult day treatment program enjoyed a chemistry presentation! Thanks to Jack, former chemist and Director of Regulatory Affairs for Unilever, clients learned how chemistry impacts many of the things we do everyday. This interactive presentation was a big hit! The best part was learning how to make whipped cream with just a jar and heavy cream ☺️!

Thank you Jack and Pat for spending time with us. We had a great time!

Earlier this week, clients in our Adult Day Treatment Program participated in a Vision Board Workshop. Thanks to the generous support of an Expressive Arts Grant, our clients had the opportunity to be creative and articulate what brings them joy. This activity offered a safe space allowing our clients to express themselves and share what brings them joy.

We are so grateful for all the love we felt yesterday. Volunteers, Kathy, Pat, Kelli, Sylvia and Ginny prepared a delicious lunch of heart shaped pasta, meatballs and salad. Thanks to Kathy for baking a beautiful heart filled cake for dessert.

Today, we had the pleasure of being part of the Greater Bergen Realtors Grant Award Ceremony. West Bergen was awarded a grant for our Adult Day Treatment Program. Each month, volunteers are scheduled to come in and prepare, serve lunch, and interact with our consumers. With the support of , we can continue this program for 6 months.
This award will have a significant impact on our program and is vital on the wellness journey of our consumers.

We extend our gratitude to Greater Bergen Realtors for their incredible support of our mission and their commitment to a stronger, healthier community!

Last week, we held our Staff Holiday Party, an annual event dedicated to celebrating the hard work and dedication of our exceptional team.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Longevity Awards. These awards are a testament to the commitment and loyalty of our team members. We recognized milestones starting from 10 years of service, all the way up to 40 years!

In total, we celebrated 280 combined years of employment!

As we reflect on the past year and celebrate these milestones, we are filled with gratitude for our incredible team who helps us change lives every day!
