Roy R. Krise, Funeral Director and Supervisor
Roy R. Krise was born and raised in Ridgway. He graduated from Ridgway High School and then attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he earned his degree as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Roy saw the opportunity to bring his version of caring, compassionate service to the residents of the Ridgway area. After completely renovating the former Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home, Roy has opened the doors to a beautifully appointed, modern facility featuring a 65 inch TV for tribute video presentations, all new bathrooms and a complete new layout. Modern wood floors cascade through the new facility, and the fresh paint and furniture make the facility warm and inviting. In the coming weeks we will be debuting a newly renovated banquet facility which will be available to each family we serve to use as a luncheon space. Roy is the son of Randy and Stephanie (Overbeck) Krise of Ridgway, and the grandson of Jack and Martha Overbeck of Ridgway and Ray Krise of Kersey and the late Ann Johnston Krise. He lives with his wife, Michelle Muccio-Krise, and three sons, Alex, Marcus, and Vincent.
