Brookville Military Honor Guard visited North Fork Heights on Memorial Day at 1pm for a flag dedication service. The Military Honor Guard donates a new flag every year to North Fork Heights. North Fork Heights provided a meal to the members of the Military Honor Guard and their guest.

The Laurels held a picnic in honor of Memorial Day.

They also danced to fun music at a Sock Hop Social.

The NBC Chorus performed at North Fork Heights on election night. It was a great performance enjoyed by the tenants! The performance was followed by refreshments and fellowship.

All in all, our Activities and Dining Departments (Amy, Suanne and Rachel) planned a great celebration of mothers!

Pictured below is the Laurels "Ladies Day Luncheon" in Brookville. Each Laurels Lady received a potted plant (Lori's Landing on the boulevard in Brookville supplied the plants). The residents enjoyed an egg bake, a coffee cake, and a fruit tart for brunch.

The Village at Laurelbrooke held a Ladies' Day luncheon at A & M Restaurant. Everyone received a flower and chocolate! Thank you Nancy Weible for the flowers! Great food, fun, and fellowship was enjoyed by all who attended.

Ridgmont had lots of fun this past April!

On April 19th Ridgmont held a tea to recognize our Volunteers. Each volunteer was presented with a gift basket that conveyed the message that the residents and staff at Ridgmont appreciate them and the "seeds of kindness" that they plant. The tea opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of God Bless America. Administrator Alexis met, welcomed and thanked the volunteers. The tea was planned and presented by Amy and Suanne, our activities team.

On April 26, chalk artist Ginger Himes presented a program during which she read a favorite scripture and then played some favorite and beautiful hymns while she created (effortlessly, or so it seemed to us) the beautiful picture which now graces our dining room wall at Ridgmont.

Easter Bunny was a little bit late but when he came, he brought lots of fun and smiles to the residents and Staff who had an egg hunt and played games during his visit.

Residents at Ridgmont have been having lots of fun so far this April!

"Residents get the staff" game at April Fool's Day party. Staff have shower caps on their head with shaving cream. Residents toss cheese balls to "get" the staff. Vivian ended up with the most cheese on her head.

Residents also colored eggs and made pickled eggs for Easter with the help of Administrator Alexis's kids!
