They told you it was incurable. That your body was broken. That a lifetime of medications was your only option.

But what if that wasn’t the truth? What if your body isn’t the enemy but your greatest guide?

Ayurveda teaches us that no condition defines you. Beneath the symptoms lies a root cause—imbalances that can be brought back into harmony. Healing is possible when we work with nature, not against it.

You are not your diagnosis. You are not broken.
You are resilient. Whole. Capable of deep, profound healing.

Let’s go deeper than the surface, uncover the root, and give your body the care it truly needs to heal from within.

I spent years working long hours as a web developer, buried in code, thinking I was ‘doing what I had to do.’ But deep down, I felt something was missing—like I wasn’t truly aligned with my soul’s purpose.

The longer I stayed in that rut—sitting for 10-12 hours a day, eating mindlessly at my desk, ignoring my body’s signals—the more I felt disconnected. Body aches, fatigue, and hormone imbalances became my constant companions. I kept pushing through, believing this was just the cost of success.

But what I didn’t realize was that my body wasn’t just tired—it was out of alignment with my soul’s calling. The physical pain and imbalances were the universe’s way of telling me I wasn’t honoring myself or my true purpose.

When I started to listen to my body and make small shifts—taking regular breaks, eating more nourishing, whole foods, and moving my body more—I began to feel the changes on a deeper level. The physical improvements were clear, but something else was happening too: I started feeling more connected to something bigger.

That’s when I discovered Ayurveda. I dove into its wisdom and realized how deeply it resonated with my journey. The idea that our bodies are connected to our mind, spirit, and purpose felt like the missing piece I’d been searching for.

As I learned more about Ayurveda and applied its principles to my own life, I not only healed but also fell in love with the practice. It opened my eyes to how healing ourselves is so intertwined with aligning with our soul’s purpose.

I knew then that I wanted to help others do the same. I found my true calling in supporting women through their own healing journeys—guiding them back to balance with Ayurveda so they too can feel aligned with their purpose and thrive.

Have you ever felt disconnected from your true purpose, or experienced physical symptoms that just didn’t make sense? 💛✨

Wondering how you can have home-cooked meals all the time?

This is a HUGE one for so many of my clients.

I am always recommending home-cooked meals, especially during the healing process, but TIME is a big issue and the knowledge of how to cook.

Many of us weren’t taught to cook growing up, so now we have a kitchen, but no idea how to use it to make food we actually enjoy.

Well, here are my top tips for getting in there, making a mess, and enjoy home-cooked meals more often:

1️⃣ Pick one meal to start having at home every day. I usually find breakfast is the easiest one to start with, but start with whatever one is easiest for you. Get consistent with cooking this one meal at home every day of the week (and not just the same thing every day of the week, but a variety of meals). So, if you choose breakfast, learn how to make an omelet, oatmeal, overnight oats, chia pudding, stewed fruits, french toast, or whatever you enjoy! As you master having one meal at home, venture into adding a second meal time to focus on.
2️⃣ Make it fun!! Dance, sing, laugh. Put on your favorite playlist and sing like no one’s watching. Personally, one of the pups is always in the kitchen waiting for something to drop, so I make them dance with me.
3️⃣ Don’t just head to the grocery store without a list or a meal plan for the week. Have 2-3 meals in mind when you go to the store, so you know you’ll have all the ingredients you need when it comes time to cook.
4️⃣ Start with simple recipes. You don’t need to be Top Chef just yet! Enjoy the simplicity of meals. Honestly, a lot of the meals we cook at home end up being a protein, rice, and a vegetable - nothing fancy at all. Then once a week or so, I will go all out and find a fancy recipe to make and enjoy as a treat!

Do your pants feel uncomfortably snug after meals? Your digestion might be in a slower gear. 🚜

Digestion plays a big role in keeping you healthy, especially when you’re going through hormonal changes like during perimenopause and menopause. If your digestion isn’t working well, it can make it hard for your body to get the nutrients it needs and worsening symptoms of hormonal imbalance.

Here are some clear sings your digestion might need a jumpstart:
🐢 Food sits forever in your stomach and isn’t moving the day it used to
🐢 You burp after meals
🐢 You need to loosen up your pants because of the bloat
🐢 You're passing gas like crazy
🐢 You see food in your p**p
🐢 You are chronically constipated (problematic for your hormones, too)

To help keep your digestion on track, focus on simple things like what you eat, how much water you drink, staying active, and adding a daily digestive enzyme (like Wellena's).

Feeling like your digestion needs a jumpstart? Enter today’s 12 Days of Faves Giveaway to win our Digestive Enzymes—designed to ease bloating, boost nutrient absorption, and support hormone balance. 🐢

✨ What if your luteal phase became a time of deep clarity and connection instead of spiraling into self-doubt and existential crises? ✨

I used to dread my luteal phase.

It felt like a wave of chaos would hit, leaving me questioning everything—my path, my worth, my purpose.

But everything shifted when I stopped forcing and started listening.

Listening to my intuition. Letting God guide me. Trusting that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Now, my luteal phase is a sacred time. A time to reflect, recalibrate, and realign with my soul’s purpose. No more fighting against myself. No more doubting my path. Just a deep sense of peace, knowing I’m guided every step of the way.

💬 Have you ever experienced this kind of transformation in your cycle? Or do you still feel the weight of those existential questions? Let’s talk about it in the comments—your voice matters. 👇

I once had my period go missing for an entire year ... want to know why?

👉 Our bodies prioritize our safety over babymaking.

This means your period will stop coming if your body doesn't feel safe enough to reproduce.

In my case, I was couch surfing, at my lowest weight ever, had a horrible diet + rarely knew when I would eat next and was living in constant fight or flight.

All of this left my body depleted of essential nutrients + pumped full of stress hormones.

This meant ovulation never happened and my period never came until I fixed my lifestyle, diet, and environment to one where I could easily enter rest + digest.

So ... if your period is showing up late or has gone missing, it's time to regulate your nervous system.

Things you're doing that are ruining your digestion (and ultimately your hormones) ...

👉 Drinking cold drinks (put the iced latte down!)
👉 Eating raw or cold foods
👉 Eating while doing another task (stop working while you eat!)
👉 Snacking out of boredom
👉 Drinking too much liquids before or during your meals
👉 Not chewing your food properly
👉 Eating past 75% fullness
👉 Not including enough healthy fats in your meals

Which one of these came as a surprise to you?
