Our Story

Hansen Vision Care was started in 1963 by Dr. Russell Hansen.

After Dr. Russell retired his son Dr. Dwight Hansen took over his fathers practice and is currently the optometrist at our office. Hansen Vision Care enjoys meeting new people and we are always accepting new patients. Dr. Hansen can provide glasses, contact lenses, annual eye health exams, Lasik workups and low vision evaluations and much more. Besides having a private practice Dr. Hansen is currently the doctor for the state of Idaho's Commission For the Blind and Visually Impaired, allowing him many great opportunities to work with patients who have visual disabilities and impairments. Our office caters to families and enjoys working with all of our wonderful patients.
