The NOW/COMP Waiver program in Georgia provides home and community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) as an alternative to institutional care. NOW (New Options Waiver) is for individuals with less intensive needs, while COMP (Comprehensive Supports Waiver) is for those with more intensive needs. Both waivers aim to help individuals live in the community, increase their independence, and improve their quality of life.
