Coastal Empire CPR Training

Providing CPR and First Aid Training for the Coastal Empire. American Heart Association Certified Instructor. Courses include CPR, First Aid, and AED training.

These three courses can be taught independently or combined in one class. Also offered is BLS for Healthcare Providers, Pediatric First Aid and CPR, and Blood borne Pathogen training. All curriculum is established by the American Heart Association and is OSHA compliant. Classes are based on your needs. Classes are often in Savannah and the surounding area.

🚨 **Women and CPR: What You Need to Know** 🚨
Let’s break down an important topic! When it comes to CPR, chest compressions and using an AED, some situations require taking action *fast*. One of the most common concerns? **What happens when CPR or an AED is needed on a woman.** Let’s clear it up:
🫀 **For CPR:** You do NOT need to remove all clothing for chest compressions, but any barriers that might prevent you from giving *effective* compressions (like bras or tight clothing) should be adjusted or removed. The goal is to make sure you can press directly on the chest—*it saves lives.*
⚡ **For AED Use:** When an AED is needed, **everything on the chest needs to come off**—yes, everything. This is crucial to ensure the pads make direct contact with the skin. Don't hesitate. Removing clothing quickly ensures the electric shock can reach the heart and make a difference.
