Snow Full Moon • Hunger Moon Gathering
Join us beneath the Snow Full Moon at Tranquil Timbers as we gather in the quiet medicine of winter. February’s full moon is also known as the Hunger Moon—a time our ancestors faced scarcity, trusting the earth, the community, and the unseen to carry them through.
This evening is an invitation to pause, listen, and root deeper.
We will begin with sound healing, allowing vibration to move through the body like snow settling on the land—softening, clearing, and restoring balance to the nervous system.
We will then share a grounding tea ceremony, warming the body and anchoring the spirit, honoring the plants that sustain us during the lean seasons.
As the moon reaches her fullness, we will enter a call-to-action ceremony with Birtha, my grounding bowl. Each participant will be invited to name what they are calling in during this season of scarcity-to-seed—strength, trust, nourishment, clarity—and offer it into sound. Rather than burning, we strike intention into vibration, sending it through the body, the land, and the unseen threads that connect us all.
This is a night to honor what has been scarce, to reclaim inner resources, and to remember that even in winter, life is quietly gathering itself.
Come as you are. Leave rooted, nourished, and resonant.
