Hey I have a small ask. If you have read RELINQUISHED by Gretchen Sisson - please take a moment to go give this book a review on Amazon. As an author, reviews are the lifeblood of positioning and sales on Amazon, when they do well their comps (books that follow in their path) do well. This is an amazing book, and we need more books like RELINQUISHED to be picked up by agents and publishers. In my opinion, this book is every bit as well written and valuable to furthering discussion as AMERICAN BABY by Gabrielle Glaser which has seen huge success on Amazon. Let's take a min and lift up Gretchen's RELINQUISHED and get her the Amazon reviews this book surely deserves. And for those who have not read it yet, please buy it and then leave a review. Thanks so much!

Today marks 14 years in reunion with my Pop Jerry Knight and my Knight family. He and I shared 11 before he passed. He said he would have raised me had he known I existed, and while I wish I could hold both families and realities, one in each hand, I cannot. This is and the conundrum of for the . I would not be who I am today, have my daughter or grandkids or adoptive family, if not for the severance from my original family and identity, so I can't say I would undo the past. But I do certainly mourn for the years taken away from us and wonder about that other version of me, the one that almost was. Would she have been a better, worse or just different version of me? If you have been blessed with the luck of a healthy reunion, hold it close to your heart and cherish every moment while it lasts.

I never forget how lucky I am to have found him. Yes, I was one of the few lucky adoptees to reunite and have not just a good, but a great, reunion.
