DME Company looking for a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver that is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented person. Someone who is focused on accuracy, can follow directions, is able to multi-task and communicate effectively. Someone who has regular and punctual attendance.
KNOWLEDGE NEEDED:
Ability to follow a city map
JOB DESCRIPTION
Unload trucks
Sort products in the backroom/Stock products on shelves
Maintain inventory counts are accurate
Engage vendors and drivers in a positive attitude
Deliveries to patient’s homes or health care facilities
Set up of Durable Medical Equipment (hospital beds, wheelchairs)
Greet customers and answer questions/answer phones
Knowledge in the healthcare or medical fields have worked with durable medical equipment
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient health information and follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA
Complete and maintain vehicle inspection reports
Other duties as they arise
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Spanish is desirable but not required

Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, Word, Excel, MS Outlook,
Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
