Armendariz graduated in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston in 1991. After graduating, Dr. Armendariz practiced dentistry in the McAllen and Rio Grande City areas. He opened his own practice in Rio Grande City in 1998. The goal of his office is to provide patients with the best quality dental care in a friendly, gentle, and helpful environment.

* Open and close dental office according to office protocol
* Provide quality service to patients at check in and check out
* Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism while scheduling appointments
* Maintain a professional reception area/office (clean up waiting area and front office)
* Greet and welcome patients when they arrive and when they are dismissed
* Confirm upcoming appointments
* Schedule follow-up appointments and recall appointments
* Gather and accurately record dental, medical and insurance information from patients
* Filing of charts
* Deliver treatment plans
* Keep patient’s insurance information up to date
* Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 year’s dental or medical office experience preferred
• Working knowledge of computers for word processing, scheduling and records management
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
