🌿 200‑Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Hybrid, 12 Weeks)
A Yoga Alliance–approved foundational program
This 12‑week hybrid training is designed for students who want a comprehensive, embodied understanding of yoga while maintaining balance with work, family, and life. The program blends the convenience of virtual learning with the richness of in‑person community practice, creating an immersive and accessible path toward becoming a confident, knowledgeable yoga teacher.
🧘♀️ Program Structure
In‑Person Training (24 hours total)
Six Saturdays • 2:00–6:00 PM
These sessions focus on the practices that benefit most from hands‑on guidance and community presence, including:
• Asana labs and posture clinics
• Safe alignment and physical adjustments
• Sequencing and class design
• Practice teaching with real‑time feedback
• Group discussions and embodied philosophy sessions
Virtual Training (176 hours total)
A blend of live online sessions and self‑paced modules covering:
• Yoga history and philosophy
• Anatomy and biomechanics
• Teaching methodology
• Pranayama, meditation, and subtle body studies
• Ethics, professionalism, and the role of the teacher
• Observation hours, practice teaching, and homework assignments
📚 What Students Will Learn
Fundamentals of Yoga
• Key postures, transitions, and modifications
• Functional movement principles
• Breathwork techniques
• Meditation foundations
Yoga Philosophy
• The Yoga Sutras, Eight Limbs, and core yogic concepts
• Introduction to Ayurveda
• Mindfulness and self‑inquiry practices
• Integrating philosophy into modern life and teaching
Practice & Teaching Skills
• Sequencing for different levels and intentions
• Verbal cueing and embodied language
• Trauma‑sensitive and inclusive teaching principles
• How to hold space with clarity, compassion, and confidence
🌱 Outcome
Graduates leave with a strong foundation in the art and science of yoga, prepared to teach safe, thoughtful, and inspiring classes. Upon completion, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT‑200).
