Your presence, compassion, and willingness to show up for our community means more than words can say. You didn’t just help serve a meal — you helped create connection, warmth, and joy for families who deserve to feel supported and seen.

We’re Ready to Host You! 🧡🍂

Our Red Mountain Family Services team is all set and excited to welcome our incredible foster parents, staff, kids and bio-families, CYFD and partners to our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner!

We’re coming together to celebrate gratitude, community, and the amazing people who make our mission possible every day. Our staff has been working hard behind the scenes to prepare a warm, welcoming space filled with good food, connection, and appreciation.

🦃 Join us for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings, plenty of smiles, and time to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together this year.

Alexis Murillo- Treatment Coordinator of the month!
Alexis Murillo has been with RMFS since March 2025; He holds a background in Family Child Studies and Psychology from the University of New Mexico. He is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children while providing support and encouragement to families. Guided by empathy and compassion, Alexis brings a thoughtful and client-centered approach to her work. Outside of his professional role, he enjoys golfing, playing soccer, and cheering on the New York Jets.

Cynthia Clark-Thompson is the Executive Director of Red Mountain Family Services, Inc. She co-founded the agency over 20 years ago alongside her husband, Jeff Thompson, who currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer.

Rachael Ulloa, MA, LPCC, NCC, is the Clinical Director, overseeing all therapeutic programming and clinical care across the agency.

Julia Jarrard, M.S., CCC-SLP, serves as the Admissions Supervisor and Treatment Foster Parent Supervisor, supporting both new admissions and the ongoing development of licensed foster homes.

Stephanie Lujan LMSW is the Program Supervisor, responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations align with agency standards and supporting staff and foster families throughout their journey.

A big 🎄holiday 🎄thank you for some amazing donations! First photo: Heidi and Drew. Through an advertising program from Dr. Arjan Khalsa, these two lovely people donated 30 pieces of luggage for our children within foster care. Second photo: lovely Janet Abernathy donated 15 brand new dufflebags and backpacks for our kids! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The kids will love them and get so much use from them! Happiest holidays 🎄🧳🎁

RMFS is celebrating 🎉 20 🎉 years of service. We’ve had the opportunity to treat over 250 kids throughout the years and cannot thank the staff, management and treatment foster parents enough!

One of RMFS’ incredible children has been honored with the Phoenix Award for her graduating class; This award couldn’t be more well deserved for this fearless and talented young lady who continues to pave her own path in this world! She is resilient and strong and simply AMAZING. This accomplishment cannot go without mention to her strongest advocates, her Treatment Foster Parents, whom have provided unwavering support to her for years on end. We will surely be celebrating her graduation here at Red Mountain and all her accomplishments this month ; Stay tuned!
