Starting July 1, 2025, Westbrook Health Services will offer 24/7 mobile crisis response in all 8 counties we serve. If someone is experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, they no longer need to come to our office or a hospital, they can now receive help where they are. Our 2-person crisis teams can be dispatched by calling or texting our crisis hotline at 304-485-1725. We’ll need a location, phone number (if available), the person’s name, and a summary of the situation. Friends or family can call on behalf of their adult loved ones if the adult loved ones are agreeable. Minors can be referred to by a parent or guardian. If needed for safety, law enforcement may accompany the team. We aim to respond within an hour and offer the same support as in-office visits, including referrals, safety planning, and compassionate care. Mobile crisis services do not replace emergency medical services. Please utilize 911 for active overdoses and other medical emergencies.
