“Your mind is not a cage, it is a garden. It requires cultivating.” ~Libba Bray, Author
भावना BHAVANA is translated from the Sanskrit meaning “to cultivate” or “development”
This earthy word reminds us that for any plant to grow well, the health of the soil is most important. We must nourish the soil (our bodies) as we nature our minds to provide an environment that will benefit us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
“To cultivate we must pull out the weeds, the most persistent, deeply ingrained ways of being and thinking, and plant the behaviors of ways of being that we want to bring into your life. That is when we can begin to plant love, kindness, joy, happiness, humility, gratitude, and peace.”
