Hey friends—Let’s check in for hot minute 💗
What you tell yourself when you wake up in the morning or whenever you look in the mirror—those words matter. Those words can make or break your day, they can make or break your week, they could even make or break your entire year. So what words are you choosing to tell yourself this morning? Here’s mine:

This week I will
-Eat healthy
-Drink more water
-Commit to my workouts
-Be kind to myself and to others
-Remind myself often that I am enough

Hey there!!! Happy Sunday!
Some of you may be new to following me so I wanted to take a moment today to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my business and why I started it.
Remember back in March when the schools closed due to the pandemic and everyone was saying, "Teachers deserve to be paid more!" Well, that's me 🙋🏼‍♀️ I'm a teacher. This time last year, I was applying for jobs left and right. The grocery store, an overnight shift at Home Depot, cleaning offices, garbage removal— the list goes on and on. Anything that I could work after school to help supplement my income. I must have filled out over 20 applications but no one was calling me back. It left me feeling like I let my spouse down, like I let myself down, I felt helpless and alone.
Then I found Zyia Active. A good friend of mine was hosting a Facebook party with an independent rep. The Rep posted a video at the beginning of the party talking about her own journey with Zyia and although our lives were completely different, she was saying a lot of things that I could relate to: independence, financial freedom, providing for her family. So I sent her a PM asking for more information. Afterwards, it was all I could think about. There was just something inside of me telling me that starting my own business was the way to go and within 24 hours, before I even tried one piece of clothing, I was a small business owner.
Becoming a business owner and working with a company like Zyia Active has been a life changing experience for me. It's pushed me out of my comfort zone, it given me opportunities I never thought I'd have and it's brought so many amazing people into my life. My business started off as a way to make extra income but it has grown into so much more than that and I couldn't feel more blessed than I do now ❤
