We want to update everyone on our holiday hours. Our clinic will be closed on Thanksgiving and will resume normal hours on Friday.
📅 Regular Hours: Monday–Friday 8–5
📅 Saturday Hours: 9–12
🚨 As always, our ER is open 24/7 for any emergency needs.

It has been a great NP Week here at East Adams Rural Healthcare. Today, we want to give a special shout-out to one of our providers, Patricia Cruz. From her own words:

“I love being a Doctor of Nursing Practice because it allows me to integrate compassionate patient care with the latest evidence-based practices. It gives me the opportunity to make a noticeable difference in people’s lives, particularly in underserved communities. These three make a great team, consistently helping with procedures, X-rays, ultrasounds, and so much more within our radiology department. We’ve received a few phone calls about this and wanted to clarify:
This information pertains specifically to our Behavioral Health services with our LICSW, Tyler Smathers.

Thank you for reaching out and staying informed! 💙

Due to a change in federal legislation, a temporary bill allowing Medicare coverage of telehealth medical visits expired on September 30, 2025. This is a government policy change, not specific to our clinic.

🔹 Medicare patients: Please call us at 509-659-1200 to schedule in-person appointments moving forward.
🔹 Washington State Medicaid still covers telehealth medical visits.

For patients seeing Tyler Smathers for behavioral health:
➡️ Call us at 509-659-1200 before December 31, 2025 to schedule an in-person visit. After that, telehealth appointments with Tyler can resume in 2026.
