Come join us at Building Blocks Therapy Nook in River Falls this summer!

Registration closes soon - we have just a few spots open, so reach out today if you'd like to register!

This is a great option for little ones who might enjoy or benefit from some social time with peers supported by a speech-language pathologist with expertise in early social skills and language development! Participants in past sessions have reported that this has been a great stepping stone for their children starting 4K programs at the end of the summer!

The last two summers of our Little Speech & Language Group were such a hit, so we are back at it again this year!
This group will be led by a speech-language pathologist with years of experience in early childhood speech and language development. We have designed this group to support speech, language, and social skills in a fun, engaging environment that your child will love. They'll enjoy new activities each week including crafts, pretend play, and gross motor activities like obstacle courses! These activities will be modified to meet the needs of each individual child.

This group would be a great fit for children ages 3 and 4 years who would enjoy some social time with peers supported by a skilled speech-language therapist. Your child does not need to be enrolled in speech-language therapy services to join this group!

Spots are limited, but new session times may be added if spots fill quickly!

This year has flown by! We learned a lot about business, went from being private pay only to being in network with many insurance plans, and built relationships with so many wonderful patients and their families!
We're so incredibly proud of the progress our patients have shown toward their goals, and we're so excited for all the growth to come!

To celebrate, we're choosing to support a local business. Books and games are two of our favorite things, so what better place to support then Fox Den Used Books!

Alternative & Augmentative Communication devices or strategies can be used by anyone who experiences difficulty communicating!

AAC can be used by people who speak but need extra support for any reason, or by people who don't speak at all. Many AAC users simply use AAC to supplement their oral communication in times when they may struggle to express themselves with spoken language.

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) can assist in developing a plan for trialing different AAC systems to determine the best fit for the individual seeking support. SLPs can help teach AAC users and their caregivers how to use AAC to improve communication.

We💙treating dyslexia!
Individualized therapy plans are SO important in treating dyslexia.

Because every person with dyslexia will experience different levels of difficulty across different skills, we don't try to fit each individual in to the same program. We complete careful evaluation and analysis of skills to develop a program specific for each client, to address their specific areas of weakness and use their strengths to their advantage! Therapy for dyslexia is challenging, but we use a wide variety of methods and activities to keep things interesting and motivating!
