This month's Community Spirit Circle is taking place this Saturday, August 9th!! We would love to have you join our fabulous life coach, reiki master, and author, Lisa Dempsey, in the studio!

Come find inspiration, encouragement, connection, support, and new perspectives as you explore life’s changes, challenges, and triumphs in a small group setting. This group will explore a variety of topics, with the intention of empowering attendees as individuals and as a group. All are welcome to attend!

Are you looking for a great way to unwind after a busy week? We have just a few spots left for this Friday's Sound Bath & Acupuncture!

Sit back and relax (or get comfy with all the props!) while you soak in all of the relaxation, restoration, and healing that the combination of sound and a personalized mini-acupuncture treatment can provide. This will be a lovely event--Emily (Healing Roots' acupuncturist) & Laura (Harmony Hands Reiki) are incredibly skilled, attentive, and caring and they would love to share in your journey toward health & wellness!

Our next Kids' Storybook Yoga is happening Wednesday, August 6th!!

We would love to have you and your little yogi(s) join us for a morning of music, movement, breath, a fun kids' book, storytelling, and creativity! This class is geared toward elementary aged kiddos but all ages are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Are you looking for a fun, unique way to kick off your weekend? Our High Vibe Drumming Circle is happening TOMORROW evening, Friday, August 1st!!

Take some time to catch your breath, relax and recharge after a busy week, slow down, find focus, and raise your vibration!

Research has proven that drumming can accelerate healing, boost the immune system, and aid in releasing emotional trauma. In today’s world, we can all use more of that! In this class we will use the power of the drum to find focus, open up the heart, and step into new energy of self healing and manifestation. Jay's drum circles are always full of energy, connections (mind/body AND community), and fun!

You can bring your own drum, borrow one of ours, or just kick back and take in the vibrations surrounding you. No experience is necessary!

Heather Schuman is our first instructor we are highlighting for our membership drive instructor/class highlights!

Heather is such a warm welcoming soul! She brings love and light (and the most soothing voice!) to every single one of her classes. You can find her in the studio Monday mornings at 9:30 and Thursday evenings at 7:00 for her Yoga Flow class. Heather has been the instructor for our monthly Yoga and Acupuncture for the last 3 years bringing everybody into a state of calm and ease, activating the rest and digest nervous system, before the 30 minute savasana with acupuncture . You can also find her behind the scenes as the Programs and Studio Manager here at Healing Roots. She is the magic behind every speciality class we have!

Here are a few words from Heather about how much she loves doing what she does! "What I love most about my roles at Healing Roots is the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other incredible, strong, creative people! Happy Sunday! It's hard to believe that it's already the last week of July! This week, in addition to our regular weekly classes, we are offering a Community Grief Circle, Community Acupuncture, and a High Vibe Drumming Circle!

As we move into August, you can join us for Kids' Yoga, Sound Bath & Acupuncture, a Community Spirit Circle, a Chakra Balancing Workshop, and *free* Karma Yoga.

*Roxie's Wednesday morning Strength & Stretch will not meet this week. This class will resume next Wednesday, August 6th. Thank you for your flexibility!

Do you need a pause--some time to catch your breath, or to relax and recharge after a busy week? Join Jay Peterson in the studio on Friday, April 11th, at 7 pm to slow down, find focus, and raise your vibration!
