My team and I have been working our tails off and are so PROUD to share this event. We will be hosting a free Gratitude and Wellness Retreat for frontline medical staff and staff support on April 9th! We want to honor the heroes of this pandemic and this is how we decided to do it. It’s been a crazy few months, and I need to say thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have been nothing but supportive and understanding and flexible with my schedule. Covid has been an incredible challenge to us all in many different ways. As a mom to three young school age boys and a small business owner during a pandemic I thank you for your patience and understanding (especially in the past few months) as I sometimes need to cancel, reschedule or move your appointment. I am trying to accommodate all of our needs and requests while continuing to keep us all safe and healthy. I apologize if I’ve had to cancel your appointment and am unable to rebook you in the immediate future. As you all know, I typically book 6-8 weeks in advance and always do my best to get you in as soon as I can. Our first featured practitioner! Please welcome Melissa Pedrini. Melissa owns Well Living Massage and will be working out of Healing Roots. She is an absolute dear heart to work with. She is passionate about getting Healing Roots on its feet and is committed to the growth mindset that is essential to working with this team of fantastic practitioners.

Here are Melissa's words:

My goal as a massage therapist has always been to approach every session with empathy,
healing thoughts, and integrity. I graduated from the massage therapy program at St. Paul
College in 2015. I opened my doors at Well Living Massage in May of 2018. I have worked at
wellness spas as well as chiropractic offices. I believe massage therapy and the power of touch
is an integral part of health and healing of the human body. I will listen to your needs and help
you find relief and relaxation in every session. I will work to create a warm, relaxing, and safe
environment to put your mind at ease.
I am trained in deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, prenatal, myofascial release, and cupping
therapies. All of my services include complimentary hot towels and doTERRA aromatherapy
oils.
My husband and I moved to River Falls in 2016. We have three young boys and have been
enjoying making this community our home. We enjoy being outside in our garden as well as
hiking and biking the beautiful trails in River Falls. We are huge baseball fans and enjoy going to
the local Fighting Fish games.

Hey all! I would like to start by saying THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients! Thank you for your continued support and for all of your referrals. I’m busier than I could have ever hoped for, and I have all of you to thank!

With a busy summer approaching I have made the decision to not take on new clients. As most of you know I have young children, so I am reducing my hours for the summer months to spend time with my family.

Many of you may have already heard my exciting news. I have decided to collaborate Well Living Massage with some amazing local healers, and create a wellness center right here in River Falls! Healing Roots Wellness Center will open its doors this summer and offer a variety of holistic healing practices as well as yoga and tai chi classes to the community. The building is currently under construction, so stay tuned for more updates as the opening gets closer!

Kids will go back to school in September. I will open up my schedule to accommodate more day time appointments and also take on new clients once again. For those of you struggling to find appointments, I thank you for your patience and understanding! I also encourage you to prebook your appointments. I have many clients book for the entire year! The coronavirus is slowly making its way into our community. I know many people are uncertain and afraid of what’s to come in the next few weeks. I’d like to take a minute to reassure you all that I’m taking every precaution I can to continue to give you a healthy and sanitary environment at Well Living Massage. I always have, and will continue to clean and sanitize my space before and after every client to assure only the safest and healthiest environment. I know how important massage services are to each and every one of you, but I do ask if you are feeling ill, please reschedule your appointment. I will do my best to get you rescheduled as soon as I can. My family and I are currently healthy and I plan to remain open as long as we remain healthy.
