Why do we measure neural plasticity while performing cognitive testing?

It tells us how nerves compensate for injury and illness. It gives us insight into how we see our environment and plays a key role in all adaptive processes.

The amplitude challenge and duration challenge are just a couple of the tests we perform when identifying your risk for mild cognitive impairment and traumatic brain injury and helps us identify when it’s safe to return an athlete to play after a concussion.

Impact testing can’t do it.
S**t testing can’t do it.

Some of you know that I’ve been on a health restoration program since March, which has resulted in massive changes. I’m down 46 lbs, blood pressure down to 130/63 from 155/90; resting pulse down to 59-62 from 104.
I’m sleeping better, exercising daily with 20 min of infrared sauna daily (5-6 days a week) and overall, have much more energy.
The first step in change is recognizing where you are and mapping out a plan to get where you’re going. It’s ok to take a lateral path! It’s ok to stop and rest. Just don’t stop!
I’m going to ask you a favor; more like a challenge. Go see where you are! My friends Nateand Kelly Hetrick have invested in our communities health and the health of their wellness business by offering body scans in their shop! Waist to hip ratio, lean muscle mass, visceral fat amount and % of body, plus many more important metrics!!
I did mine and got to see where I still have work to do! It’s a great addition to your restoration program and can help you stay accountable for change!!
