UW-River Falls Art Society

UW-River Falls Art Society Art Society is an University of Wisconsin-River Falls organization that seeks to promote awareness of visual art and provide art opportunities for students.

In the past, we have taken a long distance trip at least once a semester. A couple examples would be going down to Chicago to see SOFA, Annual Art Therapy Symposium or going to the Milwaukee Art Museum. In the past year and a half we have focused more on viewing local shows and exhibits. In this time we have taken a trip to see the Franconia sculpture park, sponsored a speech by sculpture artist and alumni David Wyrick, organized and sponsored the Annual Scholarship Sale and Student Juried Show. Our current endeavor has been designing an arts based website that current or graduated art students may use as a resource for research, job opportunities, and simply staying up to date with the current art scene. Meetings will occur twice monthly. Meetings and activities will be posted on all Art Society social media and KFA bulletin board.

Our membership is open to all majors and any UWRF student may join Art Society at anytime and participate in any of its activities.
