🎃✨ Healing Happens Here — Even in Costume! ✨🎃

We believe that recovery is more than treatment — it's rediscovering joy, connection, and the courage to be yourself.
Halloween, is a time for our incredible staff to dress up not just for fun, but to show that laughter and light-hearted moments are essential parts of healing. From superheroes to spooky creatures, each costume was a reminder that recovery can be filled with hope, creativity, and celebration.
We’re proud to foster a space where fun is therapeutic, and where every smile is a step forward. 💪🧡

Meet Master's Degree Interns Nicole & Noah! 📷

These two are the next generation of mental health professionals - students at [University of Wisconsin Stout ]! We are so honored that Nicole and Noah have chosen the Substance Abuse Counselor in Training internship. This means that they can meet with clients (under supervision) and share their experience with other grad students who may be considering going into the field.

Being a part of developing the next level of professionals is a part of our mission!

P. S. - Happy belated birthday, Noah! 🎂

Need help with an odd job? Hire one of our guys. 💙

Many arrive here with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They’re working hard to recover—and rebuild.

Hiring them for spot jobs (yard work, moving, cleaning) gives them a chance to earn a little, feel valued, give them hope and move forward.

I’ve seen how much it means. It transforms. You get help—they get hope.

🍂 Wrapped in Warmth and Love 🧶

As the crisp air settles in and winter approaches here in River Falls, WI, our clients are welcomed into treatment with something truly special—a handmade quilt from Martha’s Quilters.
These beautiful quilts aren’t just warm layers against the cold—they’re heartfelt symbols of love, support, and hope. Each one is crafted with care and given to every individual upon admission to our substance use disorder program, reminding them from day one:

These quilts aren’t just fabric and thread—they’re a message: You are seen. You are valued. You are supported.

Thank you to Martha’s Quilters for stitching comfort into every corner and helping our clients feel safe, seen, and supported—especially during the colder months. ❄️💙

It’s the last day of our Recovery Month fundraiser. Let’s finish this race together! 🏃🏻 Thank you to all who have shared personal recovery stories or donated to fund life-saving treatment.

Recovery truly takes a community, and today, community participation is our most urgent goal.

Already, five generous donors have stepped up to help fund vital counseling and residential treatment for men fighting addiction… But we have a way to go, and the clock is running out! ⏰

“You believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Thank you for helping me—and so many others—find recovery and purpose." - Kinnic Alumni, Substance Abuse Counselor

We can’t let these men down. We’re asking you to be one of the 25 final donors. Whether you can give $5 or $50, your donation right now funds the most vulnerable gap in the recovery journey and transforms lives.

Help us cross the finish line before midnight tonight!

🎉 Alumni Spotlight- Meet Matt Enlund

Forever Grateful to Kinnic Falls 💙

"In March 2021, I completed the program at Kinnic Falls—and it changed my life.

During my time there, I began healing and rebuilding relationships with my family during weekend passes. I started working again and slowly got back on my feet financially. After graduating, I transitioned into sober living, and though the beginning was tough, I learned from my mistakes and truly embraced recovery.

I became part of AA—not just someone who showed up, but someone who showed up for others. I started sponsoring guys, became a manager at the sober house I lived in, and even returned to Kinnic a few times to share my experience, strength, and hope with the men there.

Those moments helped me discover my purpose: helping others. I went back to school, completed college, and in December, I began working as a Substance Abuse Counselor.

None of this would’ve been possible without the incredible support from the staff at Kinnic Falls. You believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Thank you for helping me—and so many others—find recovery and purpose."

Recovery works! Matt was the 2nd to donate to Kinnic Falls for this year's Recovery Month (September). Thank you, Matt!
