Right now, he’s laying down a new stone walkway, turning the grounds into a warm and welcoming space where our clients can feel safe, supported, and at home.

HELP A NEIGHBOR! We're accepting clean, gently used men's clothing! 👕 Socks, shorts, shoes, and t-shirts are among the most needed items this time of year. We also accept new toiletries like deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and shampoo.

Our clients come to us with a lot of courage, but not a lot of clothing and hygiene products. 🪥 Your donation supports men on their recovery journey. What Should I Do?

Addiction and mental illness on their own are difficult to overcome. But when they’re in concert, they’re even more challenging. 🎹 Mental health professionals may not know how to help you or may not think you can be helped. But you can be. You just need to find the right treatment!

We're grateful to NAMI, which visits Kinnic Falls on a monthly basis -- sharing personal journeys, resources, and educating on ways people can be supported.

🎉 Welcome to the Team, Sher Burns! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Sher Burns joined us at Kinnic Falls Inc. in February 2025 as our new Billing and Claims Specialist!

Sher studied Medical Billing and Coding and brings a wealth of experience from working in hospitals and substance use disorder facilities. She’s already making a big difference behind the scenes, and we’re so lucky to have her on board!

When she’s not keeping our billing in top shape, Sher loves spending time with her husband and their three adorable dogs 🐶🐶🐶.

🎶 Meet Matthew Miller — Where Compassion Meets Rhythm 🏃📚

At our substance abuse treatment center, we believe in treating the whole person, especially when it comes to co-occurring mental health challenges. That's why we're thrilled to introduce Matthew Miller, MS, LPC-IT, SAC — a dedicated clinician with a heart as big as his talent.

🧠 With a Master's degree in Mental Health, Matthew brings deep understanding and empathy to every client he works with, helping them navigate the complex journey of recovery with clarity and care.

🥁 And when he's not offering support in sessions, you might just catch him behind a drum kit — he’s a drummer in a local band, driven by rhythm and creativity. He also enjoys running to clear his mind and reading to expand it — a perfect balance of energy and introspection.

Jay Peterson, an 18-year meditator from Minneapolis, will be leading exercises that encourage healing and reflection for our clients here at Kinnic Falls. People in recovery thrive when participating in outdoor group activities!

Kinnic Falls volleyball court, has been a popular summer activity for our residents for many years.

Every year, our staff challenges the residents to a game. Our cook, John, prepares root beer floats or purple cows (ice cream with grape soda 🤣)!
