Our Story

Dr. Iehl is a 1992 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, located in Davenport, Iowa, the first and most prestigious Chiropractic college in the world. At Palmer he learned the many core adjusting techniques offered but also learned to relax the muscles through Trigger Point Therapy and Nimmo-Receptor-Tonus procedures.

Dr. Iehl has served the River Falls area for over 25 years and has honed his skills to work on relaxing the muscles before giving an adjustment. This allows the joints to move more easily with less force and less discomfort to the patient. In addition, with the relaxed muscles patients hold their adjustments longer and need to be seen less frequently. Dr. Iehl primarily uses drop table techniques on a specialized adjusting table which allows the adjustment to happen quickly and very specifically while being more comfortable for the patient. Since Dr. Iehl knows many adjusting techniques he can deliver the care your body needs, if one procedure doesn’t give the desired results he can switch to other’s that may be more effective. Some of the other techniques and maneuvers he routinely uses are: Gonstead, Deversified, Thompson, Pierce Stillwagon, Logan Basic, SOT and CranioSacral Therapy.

Iehl Chiropractic accepts all area insurance, including; Health Partners, Medica, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, Badgercare, Humana, Aetna as well as many others. Inevitably insurance is limited. You may have a very high Deductible or your insurance allows limited visits. We have a very low overhead and we pass that savings on to our patients. We offer some of the lowest cash options in the area with no hidden fees. When insurance doesn’t cover your care you have affordable options.

Dr Iehl was Born in River Falls and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. River Falls has always been a second home with many close family ties. Family is very important to Dr. Iehl. He and his wife have six daughters and five grandchildren. Dr. Iehl has many interests including: traveling, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Iehl worked his way through school as a cook, bartender, lumberyard attendant, auto parts sales person, as well as a store manager. After his graduation from Palmer college, Dr. Iehl worked in a busy Milwaukee chiropractic office before opening this office in River Falls on June 13, 1994. Dr. Iehl is a member of the "Wisconsin Chiropractic Association", a member of the "St. Croix Valley Chiropractic Alliance", past Chair of the Pierce County Chapter of The American Red Cross, an American Red Cross Local Disaster and Emergency Volunteer, he is also active in Church and the community. Dr. Iehl has been an adjunct professor teaching Microbiology and Human Anatomy and Physiology at Chippewa Valley Technical College in River Falls, when needed since 2009.
