Christine Vlahos, MSPT

Christine has been treating patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions in private practice settings since for since 2000. She received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1999 and has extensive post graduate training in manual therapy, women's health, pelvic rehabilitation, Pilates and myofascial release. She studied childbirth education with The Childbirth Educators of Metropolitan New York from 2003-2005. She worked with pelvic rehab specialists in NYC and from 2003-2008, while taking Herman and Wallace pelvic therapy courses. She completed Polestar’s Pilates for Rehabilitation program in 2010, and applies Pilates principles to her exercise programs. She began studying myofascial release with John F. Barnes in 2017 and includes his unique manual therapy techniques in all of her treatment sessions. Christine is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Women's Health Section, the National Vulvodynia Association and the International Pelvic Pain Society.
