Smyrna Police Department Announces Safe Recovery of Lyri Ryan
This morning at approximately 7:50 a.m., the Smyrna 911 Communications Center received a call from a citizen reporting a possible sighting of Lyri Ryan. Officers responded to the area, and upon arrival, it was confirmed that Lyri Ryan had been safely located.
Lyri has since been reunited with her family. The Smyrna Police Department would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the community members, partner agencies, and everyone who assisted throughout the night in the efforts to locate her.
We are extremely grateful for the public’s support and are overjoyed that Lyri is safely home with her family.

🚨 Runaway Juvenile🚨

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Christian Joseph Bailey, who was last seen on January 2, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m.

Description:
• Black male
• 5’6” tall
• 127 pounds
• Black hair
• Brown eyes

Last seen wearing:
• White shirt
• Black shorts

Christian left from his residence in Villa Rica. At this time, it is unknown how he is traveling or who he may be with.

⚠️ Please note: Any person harboring or assisting a runaway juvenile may be in violation of OCGA § 16-5-45, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, which is a criminal offense in the State of Georgia.
