B. Simone went down Funny Marco’s hardships like a checklist — Section 8 housing, mattresses in hallways, school struggles — trying to make his trauma the focal point.

She meant well, but… that’s triggering.

Why the obsession with his trauma? Why not let him share what he believes is relevant to his success today?

Marco didn’t let it stick. After she finished, he mirrored her energy right back:
