π Meet Annie Baulch, our Secretary
Every great team has someone holding it all together behind the scenes. For the North Fork Breast Health Coalition, that person is Annie Baulch.
As our Secretary, Annie is the backbone of this board, the one making sure the details are right, the records are kept, and the work we do is documented with care and precision.
Organizations like ours run on passion, yes, but they also run on people like Annie, who show up every single time and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
By day, Annie is a Personal Lines Account Manager at the Roy H. Reeve Agency in Mattituck, an independent East End institution that has been protecting families and businesses in this community since 1926. She knows this community inside and out, who lives here, what they need, and how to take care of them. She brings that same neighbor-first mindset to everything she does at NFBHC.
π Annie has been on this board since 2009. Let that sink in for a moment. Sixteen years of showing up as a volunteer. Sixteen years of board meetings, grant reviews, event planning, and making sure this organization runs exactly as it should. Through every gala, every walk, every patient we've served, Annie has been there, steady and committed, asking nothing in return.
That kind of loyalty is rare. And this community is better because of it.
π Annie also Co-Chairs our Annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness, held every year on the fourth Sunday of September. She helps organize one of our most beloved community events, bringing hundreds of walkers to the starting line each fall to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and raise critical funds for North Fork families facing breast cancer. In 2024, the walk drew 300 walkers and raised $27,500 for our patients. That doesn't happen without the kind of steady, tireless leadership Annie brings every single year.
π Not every hero wears a cape. Some carry a clipboard, answer every email, and make sure every meeting, every grant, and every program runs exactly as it should.
Sixteen years and counting.
Thank you, Annie, for being the steady hand that has helped keep this mission moving forward π
