🎁 Giving a special holiday shout out to the ladies of Riverhead Moose Lodge 1742! ✨

They're always so kind to our residents and visit often. This time they came to spread some holiday cheer not just with gifts, cards, and goodies for the residents- but also with one of their grandsons (Sean McAllister, A Crooning Heart) who sang beautifully for everyone (and sounded just like Frank Sinatra!). We're so appreciative of the all for truly embracing what this season is about

You can connect with their kindhearted organization by reaching out to:

Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing residents do things they never thought they'd do! 💗 Stick around to the end for some very kind words, and to see Louis walk right out our door all on his own, after coming here thinking he'd never walk again.

We're so thankful to our residents for trusting us, and shout out to the amazing staff for always doing their best to change residents lives one step at a time.

See what we can do for you at 💻 acadiacarecenter.com , or come by for a visit!

We're certainly in the holiday spirit! Laurie from SOSA Productions joined us for our Christmas Tree lighting, and one of our residents got to do the honours. We had cookies and enjoyed the decorations as we basked in the glow of the tree.

Residents put together holiday wish lists for their families 🎁 Some of the items were tangible, but many of them were feelings, hopes and dreams 💗 Our residents are some of the best, most kindest people and we love celebrating the holidays with them!

Challenge accepted 🥔 Residents competed to see who could roll their potato the furthest and rack up the most points! 💗 Our staff always makes the BEST cheerleaders, and we're so thankful for them.

Acadia Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Acadia Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation offers excellent short-term rehabilitation, complex medical care, and subacute skilled nursing, along with long term care. We provide specialized programs and individualized attention to each resident, all in a comfortable, country setting in Riverhead.

If a patient is recovering from surgery, an illness, or accident, our rehabilitation department provides state-of-the-art speech, occupational, and physical therapies, all in our newly renovated therapy center over looking lush gardens. We place an emphasis on mobility, independence, and recovery. Residents appreciate our creative philosophy as we incorporate health and wellness techniques to help each patient return to normal, everyday life.

In the warmer months, we often provide therapy for residents outside so they can spend time in the spacious, beautiful gardens. There is a lovely enclosed courtyard in the garden area as well. Our interdisciplinary team works with each resident and their family, providing the highest possible quality patient care and services.
