Acadia Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation offers excellent short-term rehabilitation, complex medical care, and subacute skilled nursing, along with long term care. We provide specialized programs and individualized attention to each resident, all in a comfortable, country setting in Riverhead.
If a patient is recovering from surgery, an illness, or accident, our rehabilitation department provides state-of-the-art speech, occupational, and physical therapies, all in our newly renovated therapy center over looking lush gardens. We place an emphasis on mobility, independence, and recovery. Residents appreciate our creative philosophy as we incorporate health and wellness techniques to help each patient return to normal, everyday life.
In the warmer months, we often provide therapy for residents outside so they can spend time in the spacious, beautiful gardens. There is a lovely enclosed courtyard in the garden area as well. Our interdisciplinary team works with each resident and their family, providing the highest possible quality patient care and services.
Contact us or stop in today for a tour of our facility. Weβll help you decide if Acadia Center is right for you or your family member.
