EEDA was well represented at the 30th Annual Long Island Family Support Services Advisory Council Legislative Breakfast at the Huntington Hilton. Legislators from all over Long Island were present to listen to the concerns and needs of people with disabilities. This event was filled with advocates supporting this year's theme of Protecting the Faces of Medicaid. In these pictures you'll see EEDA staff and self-advocates, Assemblymember Jodi Giglio at the podium, and EEDA's Executive Director Joy O'Shaughnessy with OPWDD's Commissioner Willow Baer.
