Let’s clear up some misconceptions about Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN):

❌ Myth: MMN affects sensation and causes numbness.
✅ Fact: MMN primarily affects motor nerves; patients usually maintain normal sensation.

❌ Myth: MMN is the same as ALS.
✅ Fact: While symptoms can look similar, MMN is an autoimmune condition and is often responsive to treatment like IVIG.
