Happy New Year Braces Family! We sincerely hope you’re 2022 is starting off strong. I wanted to send a few updates to our office. I know a lot of you have asked why we haven’t been posting on social media and such. The truth is that Dr. Han lost his father from COVID in January of last year and since then we really wanted to focus on in-person relationships. We all consider you a part of our family and we want the best for you and your family. We were just notified from one of our patients that we saw earlier that they have tested positive. And so we need to take the necessary protocols and quarantine. And per CDC, we should be good by Monday. We are all doing well but we wanted to make sure we protect you and our team. We hope you understand. If you have appointments this week, we will be calling you shortly to reschedule. We apologize for this. We really hope this COVID goes away soon! God Bless!

Happy Holidays everybody! We sincerely wish you and your family a blessed and joyous Holidays. This year has been so full of highs and lows, laughter and tears. And more than ever, it’s clear that’s it’s the people in our lives that make life worthwhile. From the bottom of our hearts, we love our patients and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.

Our office will be closed until Jan 4th but we will be available from 8am-12pm to take phone calls. And of course, we will be available for emergencies on our emergency line. For those that we have made special arrangements for, those appointments will still be honored. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello Braces Family, we sincerely hope and pray that all of you are safe and healthy. We wanted to let you all know that we are taking every precaution to keep all of you and all of us safe. The guidelines state that dentistry and all the specialities are essential services and are allowed to stay open. If you feel unsafe in any way and we can do something more, please let us know. We have been getting a lot of concerned calls asking if we are going to close again. And rest assured that we are keeping up with all guidelines. We have been notified that dental services are classified as essential and will not close. We are open until further notice. We miss you all too much to close!!!

Hi family!!! We are finally opening next week Monday May 18th. We have made so many changes to our protocol so please read the message below. The main change will be for checking in when you arrive. There will be a sign in sheet on our front door for you to write your name and number and we will be calling you on your phones when we ready the chairs for you. Also we will be allowing patients only into the operatories but exceptions will be made for our young ones and those with special needs. We can’t wait to see you all!!! Please be safe!

Hello again Braces Family! We hope that you are all doing ok inside the comforts of home and for those of you still working, thank you for risking your health to keep this world moving. It’s been a very unusual few weeks to say the least. But we are glad to hear that you are all healthy and we are as well.

Logistically speaking we are one month behind on all of your treatments. And even though it may sound like it’s a long time, the interval between orthodontic appointments can safely be a lot longer as long as there is no “active” treatments going on, such as wearing elastics, headgear, expander turns. So here are the recommendations

1. Stop all elastics unless you are a surgical patient and the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon is monitoring the elastic wear. For non-surgical patients, stop the elastics for now. Losing 1-3 months of elastic wear can be made up relatively easily. However, if you just started the elastics with us, it is safe to keep wearing them but please email us photos of your progress at info@bracesriverside.com. We would need a right and left side biting down photo with cheeks pulled away and a photo straight on with teeth biting down.
2. Do not turn the expanders any more. We can resume the turns when we get back.
3. Keep wearing headgear for the effects of this will take longer than a few months.
4. Please please please keep teeth clean.
5. For our Invisalign patients, if you need to pick up more trays please call and we can arrange for you to pick them up. Please wear each tray longer than you were wearing previously. You can safely wear them at nights only for 3 weeks at a time.

We are here to take any phone calls from 8am-12pm. The messages are checked constantly and we are always here to take emergencies.

We feel so helpless as I’m sure all of you do as well. We want to get back to working and serving you but we are told that we can’t until the spread of this pandemic is under control. You are all like family to us and honestly, we feel so bad. But we are trying to keep you updated as best as we can and if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us. For now please stay safe and healthy. That’s the best that we can do for now.
