That's A Wrap!:

Thank You For Another Successful & Unforgettable Evening Filled With Laughter & Connection!

From an unforgettable evening filled with laughter and camaraderie to a valuable opportunity of sharing connection and support with several mental health professionals and members in our community, the Laughing For The Health Of It" Clean Comedy Show and Mental Health Resource Fair event concludes as a complete success for a second year in a row!

If you were able to attend the event this year, we thank you for your support, contributions, and commitment to mental health advocacy. This event wouldn't have been made possible without our community, our team, and sponsors, including the California Department of Public Health, Marsell Wellness Center, Riverside University Health System of Behavioral Health, California Reducing Disparities Project, African American Family Wellness Advisory Group (AAFWAG), and the Broken Crayons Still Color Project.

Special thanks to the keynote speaker Martinez "Marty" Sellers from the Marsell Wellness Center who delivered a powerful and insightful presentation on mental health, further emphasizing the importance of destigmatizing conversations surrounding mental well-being.

We'd also like to thank the hilarious comedians, Fritz Coleman, Richard Weiss, Sean Grant, and Donna Maine for delivering great performances for the crowd. They had the audience bursting with laughter, providing an uplifting and entertaining experience for all.

We also had the pleasure of featuring a beautiful art gallery designed by Fine Artist, Maurice Howard, entitled "Our Healing Garden".

Phyllis Y Clark, CEO of Healthy Heritage, expressed her appreciation for the overwhelming response to the event.

It's Monday! Are you ready to kick off the week strong? We look forward to seeing you this Sunday for Laughing for the Health of It! You will hear about it, but we prefer you to join us!

Did you know: the COVID-19 pandemic has made it harder for us to access mental health and substance use treatment services? There will be a variety of Mental Health Resources available for our community so we can access the resources we deserve and need.
