Another cold night. Our Patrol Officers spent the night contacting several people sleeping on the properties we patrol. Our Patrol Officers documented each contact and gave trespassing warnings to each individual before being escorted off the property.

Our Field Representative was out last night training one of our guards at a new community that requires full-time monitoring of their parking. Ensuring that all vehicles are displaying their resident parking permits and guests are safe-listed.

Our Patrol Officers spent part of the night contacting a couple of transients trespassing at our properties. The contacts were documented on our mobile app with the subjects information and photo and the subjects were escorted off the property without incident.

An alert security officer working one of our apartment communities observed two subject in the parking lot, as he approached the subjects fled the area on foot leaving behind empty gas cans and other items related to fuel siphoning. The guard and patrol officer immediately checked the area, the subjects were not located, it does not appear the subjects were able to siphon any fuel from any residents vehicles.

Great Job to our alert patrol officer!
While the patrol officer was conducting routine patrol at one of our shopping centers, he observed broken glass from the front door of a business, believing someone was possibly inside he monitored the entry and exits and contacted local law enforcement who arrived shortly after. No one was located. It was later learned that no one had made entry into the business, the patrol officer arrived shortly after the glass broke, possibly scaring off would-be buglars.

A few months ago, as one of our patrol officers arrived at one of our normally quiet industrial parks, they immediately noticed a large crowd in one of the alleys. It was determined that a tenant was allowing one of their employees to host an event at their business. After photos of the crowd, trash and some new graffiti, was sent to the property owner, the party was shut down.
Public Safety Services provides an extra set of eyes and ear for property owners, patrol officers deter unwanted activity and report all activity observed during their visits.
