The RSV vaccine is recommended for all adults ages 75 and older. It’s also recommended for adults ages 50-74 who have certain chronic health conditions or live in a nursing home. Ask your health care provider if you should get the RSV vaccine. It’s OK to get the RSV vaccine at the same time as flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Protect yourself and your loved ones from getting very sick this virus season!

NEWS: Riverside County Public Health Officials Identify Tuberculosis Case at Indio High School.

A Riverside County student has tested positive for tuberculosis (TB), the Riverside University Health System – Public Health (RUHS-PH) department reported today, and efforts are underway to notify those who may have been exposed to the disease.

TB is a disease caused by bacteria that is spread through the air during prolonged, repeated and close contact with someone who has infectious TB disease.

Symptoms of active TB can include a persistent cough, fever, night sweats and unexplained weight loss.
