Caregivers, this one’s for you. Taking care of others is a beautiful act of love, but it’s easy to forget about the most important person in the equation—you.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stretched too thin, you’re not alone. Caregiver burnout is real, and it’s okay to take a step back and focus on you.

Here are a few self-care tips to recharge:
🔋 Take short breaks to breathe and reset.
🔋 Lean on your support system—friends, family, or caregiver groups.
🔋 Prioritize your health with proper sleep, nutrition, and exercise.
🔋 Don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it.

Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

As we head into fall, it’s time to start thinking about protecting yourself and your loved ones from the flu. Here’s how you can get ready:

✅ Get your flu shot early! Experts recommend getting vaccinated by October for the best protection.
✅ Boost your immunity: Eat healthy, stay active, and get plenty of sleep.
✅ Practice good hygiene: Wash your hands often, cover coughs/sneezes, and avoid touching your face.
✅ Stock up on essentials: Tissues, hand sanitizer, and over-the-counter meds can be lifesavers.

Check with your doctor to find out when flu shots are available in your area.

When it comes to a stroke, every second counts. Knowing the signs and acting FAST can save a life — maybe even your own.

Learn the F.A.S.T. acronym:

F – Face drooping: Is one side of the face numb or drooping?
A – Arm weakness: Can the person raise both arms? Does one drift down?
S – Speech difficulty: Is speech slurred or hard to understand?
T – Time to call 911: If you see any of these signs, call emergency services immediately.

Strokes can happen to anyone, anytime. Recognizing the symptoms early is key to getting the right treatment fast.
