This patient presented to our office after a resection done by her dermatologist. Mohs reconstruction is typically addressed immediately by our office, and within a few days she was in surgery. Dr. Allak used nearby surrounding tissues to create a natural repair to the area. She healed wonderfully from her surgery and was quickly back to daily life!

This patient is shown only ONE MONTH post surgery! She was concerned with the size of her nose and did not like the irregularities in the tip cartilage and across her bridge. This particular patient has thinner skin - meaning, Dr. Allak must take a careful and considerate approach when making structural changes to ensure as time goes on and swelling does down, everything heals smoothly. This sweet patient came in for a and we are excited to share her results! Dr. Allak remained true to the foundation of her nose while refining the tip, and deprojecting the bridge/overall profile. In her case, a functional septorhinoplasty was done at the same time. Doing these procedures together can cut back on facility fees & improve both functional and aesthetic goals all at the same time. Before and after on a nasal tumor!

This patient presented for rhinoplasty evaluation with concerns about the appearance of his nose and prominence of his tip. Upon careful examination it was determined that he had a mass growing in his nose!

Swipe ➡️ to see intraop photos taken of this gentleman’s tumor. The after surgery photos are only 3 WEEKS post-surgery. With time the appearance of scarring will fade away, and results will only improve. In cases like these it is so important to choose someone who is double-board certified, specializing in both functional & cosmetic nasal surgery.

This patient of ours underwent a cosmetic rhinoplasty through a minimally invasive closed approach - when doing a rhinoplasty on a younger patient, it is important to be mindful of their continued growth. Age plays an important factor in technique, approach, and the scope of work that can be done during surgery. There is no single age cut off for when and how rhinoplasty can be done- a board certified facial plastic surgeon can take all of these factors into consideration to customize a plan for each patient!

This patient was referred to us after Mohs surgery with a dermatology colleague. He presented to our office with the large defect as seen on the left, and underwent reconstructive surgery with Dr. Allak. Surgery required a large scalp rotation flap, tissue rearrangement of his forehead, and a full thickness skin graft, and we could not be more pleased with his result. This is an example of why it’s so important to come see a facial plastic surgeon to ensure everything heals well, functions well, and looks great!

Before, one month after, and 3 months post for this patient! We had previously posted her immediate before and afters, but wanted to showcase her again after a recent visit to the office showed even more significant improvement from swelling. She is a great example of the importance of patience and time in the healing process from any sort of facial surgery. Good things take time!

This patient developed carcinoma on their eyelid, requiring removal and subsequent reconstruction. Because of the size of the cancer, a full thickness removal of the eyelid was required to properly excise the cancer. This then required a complex reconstruction by Dr. Allak to re-establish the integrity. She has had a great result and maintained all function of her eyelid.
