This patient required extensive reconstruction - the young patient had developed basal cell carcinoma on the tip of his nose requiring removal and subsequently reconstruction. Through a thoughtfully planned surgery, Dr. Allak was able to reconstruct his nasal structure and get him back to his normal routine!

Happy Friday! Today we are sharing this before and after ! This procedure is so effective in refreshing the overall appearance of the face. An upper blepharoplasty is a procedure in which excess skin from the top eyelid is removed. It usually takes about 1 hour, can be done in the office or the operating room, and takes 1-2 weeks to initially recover from with swelling improving over time. We hope everybody had a Merry Christmas! Today we are sharing this before and after of a lower lip scar! This patient presented to the office with a scar on her lower lip for which she desired improvement. Lower lip scars can be difficult given the contour of the lip and the thickeness of the scar. Using carefully selected tissue to match the surrounding area is crucial to a seamless reconstruction. Now her scar is hardly visible!
