At Colva Honey Works, our bees enjoy the best of both worlds! 🐝🌿 In the summer, they thrive in the sweet clover and alfalfa fields of Fremont County, Wyoming. Come winter, they head to the sunny almond orchards of central California. It's not just people who chase warmer weather! These little travelers are crucial for pollination, making them heroes in agriculture.

Happy Halloween! This is not a real pumpkin-although it looks livelier than a typical painting! This is an encaustic painting by PAm board member, George Hansen. Encaustic artwork is created by heating wax, in this case bees wax, and using it as the medium to paint and sculpt. That means that this artwork a collaboration between the artist and the bees. We hope you have a fun and safe holiday! Show us your pumpkin creations!
