This month we honor someone who has been a pillar of strength and faithfulness, and a carrier of vision since the very beginning of Renewed. It is with deep gratitude and joy that we recognize our Clinical Director, Thomia (Stevenson) Thompson, as the first recipient of The Rooted Award!
This award marks 5 full years of service at Renewed Integrative counseling and celebrates long-term faithfulness... encouraging a culture of honor and recognition for the values that guide our work.
This award is given to team members who have completed five years of service and whose presence has become a grounding force within our mission. It honors resilience and consistency, not only for the years served, but the depth of character and mission-mindedness formed throughout those years.
Mia joined Renewed when it was still in seed form. She walked with us during the early stages when the dream had not yet fully taken shape. She witnessed the groundwork being laid, stood by through uncertain terrain, and helped us build something beautiful from the ground up.
She has not only served faithfully.... she has led with wisdom, endured with grace, and stood firm in seasons of molding, stretching, and fruitfulness. Her role as Clinical Director is one of great responsibility, but it is the quiet strength behind the scenes, the thoughtful decisions, and the unwavering support she gives to us and our clinicians that reveal just how rooted she truly is.
This milestone reflects her deep spiritual and professional roots within the mission of Renewed. Mia has become a tree planted by streams of living water, and many of us have found shelter, direction, and encouragement under her leadership.
Mia we truly thank you. You are not just part of the foundation of Renewed.... you are part of the legacy being written. 🌳
