As we step into a new year, our word at Renewed Integrative Counseling is Joy.
Not the kind of joy that ignores pain or rushes healing. Not forced positivity or spiritual bypassing. But the kind of joy Scripture speaks of, a deep, steady joy that remains even when the journey has been hard.
“ The joy of the Lord is your strength ” (Nehemiah 8:10).
At Renewed, we have learned that true joy often grows alongside grief, perseverance, and courage. It shows up when someone chooses to keep showing up to therapy. When a family chooses healing over avoidance. When a person learns to regulate their nervous system while also learning to trust God again. When faith and evidence-based care walk hand in hand.
As we enter 2026, we are choosing renewed joy.
-Joy rooted in truth, not denial.
-Joy anchored in Christ, not circumstances.
-Joy that honors the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
This year, we will continue walking with our community through real healing. We will continue to hold space for hard stories, tender faith questions, and meaningful growth. We will continue to believe that renewal is possible, even when it takes time.
