Did you know that the history of ๐ฟcannabis๐ฟ in America is intertwined with the history of racial injustice and prejudice? In the early 20th century, anti-cannabis propaganda perpetuated harmful stereotypes about people of color, including African Americans, portraying them as violent and morally corrupt. ๐However, despite these efforts to demonize cannabis and its users, African American communities found ways to use the plant for both medicinal and recreational purposes. ๐๐ตDuring alcohol prohibition in the 1920s, many African American jazz musicians turned to cannabis as a substitute for alcohol, reflecting the resilience and creativity of this community in the face of systemic discrimination. ๐ช๐พ It's time to acknowledge and correct these past wrongs, and promote equity and diversity in the cannabis industry. Join us in advocating for equity and diversity in the cannabis industry. Let's make sure that the history and contributions of African Americans are acknowledged and valued. Speak up, educate others, and support African American-owned businesses in the cannabis industry. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.๐ ๐ช๐พ ๐ค ๐ฟ ๐ณ ๐ผ ๐ฌ
