Physician spotlight 🥼⭐️ Get to know Dr. Sara Veiga!

Dr. Veiga joined The Woman’s Group in 2014. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and earned her B.S. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Veiga specializes in obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and procedures for fibroids, endometriosis, and infertility. She is passionate about providing exceptional care to women at every stage of life.

Our team had the honor of participating in the “Wave of Light” remembrance ceremony at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital this week.

This meaningful event brings families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals together to remember and honor the precious little ones lost too soon. Through reflection and light, we stand in solidarity with families who have experienced unimaginable loss, offering love, comfort, and hope.

We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show such compassion and unity.

Our team had a great time this week participating in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk—an annual tradition for us!

Each year, we come together to walk in support of all the women and families whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. It’s always an inspiring day filled with hope, unity, and a shared commitment to raising awareness and finding a cure.

We’re so proud to be part of this meaningful cause and to continue showing up for our community.
