Derick Dermatology recommends daily use of a broad spectrum, mineral sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater.

A broad spectrum sunscreen protects against UVA and UVB. UVA and UVB exposure can lead to sunburns and aging skin which can increase the risk of skin cancer.
