If you're tired of meals that taste amazing but leave you hungry an hour later, fix the math without ruining the flavor. I took a regular twice-baked potato and leveled it up with a simple protein hack:
¼ cup of cottage cheese mixed right into the mash
- 7g of protein, zero weird texture once it's baked.
Topped it with a light drizzle of organic shredded cheese and it turns into that creamy, savory bite everyone loves... but finally keeps you full. If you struggle to hit protein without eating like a bodybuilder, start here. One small shift, big payoff.

Got a request last week asking what she should do before her hip replacement... and honestly, pre-surgery work is one of the most overlooked parts of recovery.
These five exercises are safe, controlled, and focus on the muscles that make walking, standing, and getting up after surgery a lot easier.
None of this is about intensity, it's about activation, stability, and keeping the hip as mobile as your pain allows. Do what you can comfortably, skip anything that spikes pain, and keep everything slow and intentional.
If you're preparing for surgery, start with these and aim for consistency. Your future self will thank you.

My shoulder is still giving me attitude, so here I am doing the same rotator cuff work I’ve given to clients a thousand times.
And honestly? It’s humbling.

We talk a lot about the four muscles of the rotator cuff like it’s just anatomy on a chart — but when even one of them isn’t doing its job, you feel it every time you reach, press, sleep, or try to pretend you’re fine.

If you’ve been “pushing through” your own shoulder stuff, take this as your sign to slow down and rebuild the foundation. Strength isn’t just lifting heavy — it’s doing the boring rehab work when you’d rather do anything else.
