This is functional fitness (at 70+ years young.)
Getting up from the floor is a life skill. It requires lower body strength, hip mobility, balance, and flexibility, all things that start to disappear when we stop training them.
If you're only training muscles and not movements, you're training for the gym, and not real life.
Train now for the body and movement you want later.
