For more than 32 years, Dr. Thomas Mebane has been providing Optometric services to our Roanoke Valley community. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to create an unprecedented impact on our way of life and a unique set of challenges, our focus is the health and safety of our employees, patients and communities.

Our employees and patients are at the heart of our business, and we remain committed to making sure they take care of themselves during this time. To that end, we've adjusted our office rules in the interim: We ask that only the scheduled patient come to your appointment. Upon arrival we ask that you come in to register and then ask that you wait outside until the doctor is ready for you. If you are picking up glasses or contacts call us at 252-537-3401 when you arrive and we will bring them out to you. We also ask that if you have an appointment and aren’t feeling well or may be at risk to please call us to reschedule your appointment.
Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our employees and community as we all work together to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to work closely with government officials and local authorities to ensure our business practices serve our associates and community in the best way possible and will evaluate our options throughout this time period. Patients can reach us at 252-537-3401 during our normal office hours which remain from Monday – Friday 8:40 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST and Wednesday 8:40 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

These are truly uncharted times. We appreciate your support and remain dedicated to updating our community as best we can as we navigate these rapidly changing conditions.
