SUNDAY’S REFLECTION
PART OF THE SOLUTION
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10 (CSB)
Are you the answer to your prayers? I wonder how often, when we’re praying and asking God to do something, He’s waiting for someone to partner with Him to do it.
Here’s what I’ve learned: God could solve every problem in the world instantly if He chose to. But He’s invited us to be His partners in bringing change to the world around us.
Maybe you’ve been praying for your community to experience more of God’s love. Could it be that you’re the one He wants to use to show that love? Maybe you’ve been asking God to bring healing to broken relationships. Could it be that He wants to use you as a peacemaker?
When we seek God for answers, let’s also seek Him for how we can be part of the solution. He’s prepared good works in advance for us to walk in. He’s equipped us to make a difference right where we are.
With Him, all things are possible! So let’s make it a priority to not only seek God for answers but also to ask how we can partner with Him to bring those answers to life.
You might be the answer to your own prayers—partner with God to be part of the solution.
