We know you have some shoes taking up space in your closet that you can't wear, but have a hard time parting with. We can give them a great home.

Drop of your gently used shoes and/or new socks to either of our locations, Decatur or Roanoke. We will be handing them out to the homeless on December 23rd.

Our Story

Podiatrists Samantha Mullins, MD, and Ricky Childers, MD, are board-certified foot and ankle surgeons who put their patients first at North Central Texas Foot & Ankle. In addition to focusing on foot and ankle surgery, they utilize other treatment techniques such as custom orthotics and custom podiatry, which includes skin care products and medical-grade supplements, in an effort to ensure that patients receive the holistic care they require.

The team at North Central Texas Foot & Ankle can treat anything from ankle sprains to foot and ankle wounds and trauma, as well as neuropathy and ingrown toenails. By using regenerative therapy methods, the patient has the option of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or stem cell injections for a natural method of healing an array of medical issues like fractures, torn ligaments, and tendons. They also offer the most advanced treatments for sports injuries, so athletes can return to the game as quickly as possible.

The team also believes in giving back to their community and those overseas. They volunteer with Love for the Least, donating medical care and supplies to refugees in Kurdistan that ISIS has affected.
