Tandem Behavioral Health at the 2025 VCA Conference

Last week, Tandem Behavioral Health had the privilege of attending the Virginia Counselors Association (VCA) Conference, where our team engaged with professionals from across the Commonwealth who are advancing meaningful work in behavioral health care.

Throughout the conference, we connected with counselors, educators, program leaders, and community partners who share our commitment to expanding access, strengthening collaboration, and elevating the standards of care for individuals and families. The event offered valuable opportunities to exchange best practices, explore emerging trends, and learn from field experts.

We were especially grateful for the chance to share more about Tandem’s services—including PHP/IOP programming, peer recovery support, case management, and our comprehensive behavioral health approach grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and person-centered care.

Thank you to VCA for hosting an exceptional event, and thank you to every professional who stopped by our table. We look forward to deepening the connections made and continuing to work together to promote growth and healing across Virginia.

A Big Move, Big Moments, and Even Bigger Gratitude**

What a week for Team Tandem! 💚

This week we officially stepped into our new space at 1111 South Jefferson Street — Suite A, Roanoke ,Va 24016 and the energy has been nothing short of incredible. From watching the sign go up to seeing staff walk through the doors together for the first time, it already feels like home.

To celebrate the transition and honor the hard work our team puts in every single day, leadership surprised staff with breakfast from one of our all-time favorite spots and continued the love all week long with snacks, lunches, and appreciation moments.

Because at Tandem, we don’t just work together —
we grow together, support each other, and rise together.

Here’s to new beginnings, shared purpose, and a space built for healing, connection, and community. 🌿✨

We’re Home. 💚

Yesterday, our Tandem team stepped inside the finished new building for the very first time — and today, we welcomed our clients into the space.

We toured the building once before during the move in process
but walking into the completed space felt completely different.

The calm.
The warmth.
The sense of “this is really happening.”

Every room was created with intention — comfort, dignity, and healing at the center of it all.
