Three incredible days at the Virginia Summer Institute for Addiction Studies 2025 Conference have now come to a close.

We are left with immense gratitude not only for the opportunity to share what True North Clinic does with the many amazing attendees we met this year, but also for getting to stand alongside so many wonderful fellow providers. We love the feel of this community of support and services that aims tirelessly to mitigate the struggle with addiction.

To everyone who stopped by our table and connected with us this week: Thank You. It was a sincere privilege.

Finally, a huge thank you to Cindy Blanton and the VSIAS team for all the hard work they do to put on this truly invaluable event each year.

🎨 It was a long, hot day. . . . . . . but what a nice way to finish it up. Appreciated the invite to a quiet, creative evening well spent at Make Creative Studio with some incredible partners who serve in the recovery field.

Together, we took a moment to "color outside the chaos" and 'embrace the ambiguity'. . . . .one brushstroke at a time.

Through watercolor painting, we found space for reflection, connection, and a little bit of fun. Thank you Freedom Recovery Centers, A Mission for Michael, Mainspring Recovery , and Master Center for Addiction Medicine for allowing us to join you in this mindful moment of creativity and collaboration.

It was a beautiful day to support Henrico County and Pyramid Healthcare’s groundbreaking ceremony for a much needed detox and residential treatment facility aimed to help combat the county’s substance abuse crisis and heal the individuals, families and our community as a whole.
