Last night, 20 of our residents gathered together for Bible study, and what a beautiful time it was. Our topic was “God Is Faithful in Every Season.”
We were reminded through Lamentations 3:22–23 that God’s mercies are new every morning. Through Isaiah 46:4, we were comforted knowing He carries us even into our gray hairs. And Psalm 71:17–18 encouraged us that God is still working through us and still has purpose for our lives.
There was something so special about seeing our residents worship, listen, share, and reflect on how God has walked with them through every season of life — from youth, to family years, to this season right now. The room was filled with peace, gratitude, and faith.
Moments like these remind us that no matter our age or circumstances, God’s faithfulness never changes. We are so thankful for the hearts that came, the stories that were shared, and the God who continues to meet us right where we are. ❤️

Rain, snow, or sunshine, our community keeps moving, stretching, and smiling. From hallway walks to chair exercises and group fitness, our residents prove that staying in shape isn’t about perfect conditions… it’s about determination, routine, and a positive spirit.

❄️ Snowstorm Weekend = Teamwork & Joy at Harmony ❄️
What a beautiful reminder that even when the weather tries to slow us down, love and teamwork always show up strong. When it seemed nearly impossible for staff to make it into work, our team came together in the most incredible way. We arrived before the storm, slept on air mattresses night after night, and made sure our residents were cared for every step of the way.
Staff stepped into new roles as dining servers, our cooks were right on target, and residents were well-fed and happy. Clinical staff lovingly cared for those we hold so dear. Life Enrichment planned a full day of fun and connection, starting with breakfast and two wonderful services — 9:00 with Parkway Church on the Mountain and 10:30 with Ascension Lutheran Church.
Then the fun continued with baking7.(and eating!) Reese’s cookies, a lively Harmony Chitchat Circle after lunch, and a joyful Sing-A-Long Snow Storm with residents singing their hearts out. And of course, what could be better on a chilly day than an indoor snowball fight? ⛄ We ended the evening on a sweet note by baking pistachio cupcakes after dinner.
All this to say… even on a snowy day, our smiles can bring the sunshine indoors. ☀️
So proud of our residents and our amazing team who turned a stormy weekend into a day full of laughter, warmth, and love. 💙

Our Harmony family gathered to honor and remember a very special soul. At the request of Barbara’s family, we held a Celebration of Life service here at Harmony, the place she called home. The room was filled with love as her family, dear friends, and several of our staff came together to share memories, prayers, and gratitude for a life so beautifully lived.
Barbara touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She and her family were such a treasured part of our community, and her presence will be deeply missed. Though our hearts are heavy, we are thankful for the joy, kindness, and warmth she brought into our days.
Fly high, sweet Barbara. You were loved deeply, and you will never be forgotten.

✨ Outback Adventure on a Cool Evening! ✨
Several of our residents enjoyed a cozy cold-evening drive to Outback for dinner, and it was a hit all around! From the first bite to the last, everyone agreed the food was on point with amazing flavor.
What made the night even better was the laughter, great conversation, and time spent together with fellow residents. Moments like these remind us that it’s not just about where we go — it’s about who we share the experience with. 💛

New Year, New Skills, New Smiles! 🎉
What an incredible day at our New Year, New Skills Experience Fair! With over fifty residents and friends joining us, our community was buzzing with excitement, laughter, and connection. From relaxing hand and neck massages to learning about Home to Community Transition, building trail mix bags, creating custom T-shirts, and focusing on Powerback and Balance for a healthier “new you”—there was truly something for everyone. Add in delicious refreshments and lots of cheerful chatter, and the result was a day full of joy, discovery, and shared experiences. Moments like these remind us that trying something new is always better together. 💫

What a beautiful afternoon at our Winter Tea Party in our Independent Living at Harmony ☕❄️
Our residents gathered for warm tea, sweet treats, and meaningful conversation, highlighted by a special reading of the story of the teacup based from Jeremiah 18:6—the story of the Master Potter and the clay. As we reflected on the teacup and the hands that shape it, we were reminded that each life is lovingly formed with purpose, care, and intention.i/
Laughter filled the room, hearts were warmed, and spirits were lifted as we celebrated not just the season, but the beauty of being continually shaped by grace. Moments like these remind us that no matter the season of life, we are all wonderfully made and deeply valued. 🤍🍵

One of the things that they do and I love, is our “Ladies Tea!”
They gather monthly with a different theme. Such a sweet activity.
