🌸 Today we welcomed the first day of May with a little bit of history, a little bit of creativity, and a whole lot of springtime joy. Residents kicked off the celebration with some May Day trivia—everything from old‑fashioned Maypole traditions to fun facts about how different cultures celebrate the arrival of warmer days.
Then came the highlight of the day: making our own flower crowns. With flowers, soft greenery, and a rainbow of colors, everyone crafted a crown that felt perfectly theirs.
There’s something special about May Day: it marks that sweet spot where spring is in full bloom and summer is just beginning to peek around the corner. Today felt like a little celebration of both—sunshine, laughter, creativity, and community all woven together.
Here’s to longer days, warmer breezes, and a beautiful season ahead 🌼✨
